Strömsö offers plenty of services for both leisure activities and maintaining your own property. We have designed a range of services in Strömsö with the idea, that second homes do not have be labor camps and when children have things to do and friends to play with, adults will also enjoy their vacation.

Activities

In the leisure activity area, our most significant investment has been the completion of 25 m long heated swimming pool in the summer of 2009. Pool area includes the heated swimming pool plus children's pool surrounded with approximately 1500 m2 of terraces. To complete the setting for beautiful summer days, the swimming pool area is right next to our natural sand beach. The pool water is also heated to about 27 degrees, so the bathing season in Strömsö is from May to September. In the future, the pool area will get a small cafeteria as add on service. We are also planning two tennis courts and golf range to Strömsö. Also horse pack riding opportunities will be developed. Strömsö offers excellent opportunities for hiking and picking berries & mushrooms. The island has easy to walk natural stage forest nearly 250 hectares (550 acer). The main harvest is blueberries, lingonberries and chanterelles. In archipelagos mild climate, the berry and mushroom yields are generally good. Our forrest has many paths which are easy and nice to walk even with children. Fishing and hunting opportunities Strömsö are unparalleled. Strömsö has it's own 1,500 hectares (3,500 acer) of fish waters offer something to everyone. Pike, pikeperch and trout are typical catch. All property owners in Strömsö receive the right to fish in the waters.Hunters will appreciate deer yachts held in late autumn, where islanders who hunt are naturally invited. Bird hunting in island waters is also great and catch rich experience.

Restaurants and Catering

Strömsö marina restaurant will open for our residents in the near future. Approximately 80 seats Pavilijonki will offer traditional fresh archipelago type of food from breakfast to dinner. The restaurant now offers private events, which the islanders have used to organize birthdays and summer celebrations. There are also catering services available in Strömsö, if you want to host events in your own villa.

Cleaning, transportation services and property maintenance

Cleaning services are available from one time use to weekly service contracts. Property Maintenance services cover all the vacation home owner's needs. We handle all normal property maintenance services in addition to dredging, pier delivery, and small engineering and building works. We offer the transportation of building materials and other heavy material from the mainland to Strömsö. For people, there is also Taxi boat service available between island and mainland.
